Job Description
Special Education Teacher Now Hiring for theSchool Year!
Are you passionate about empowering students with exceptional needs Our team is looking for a certified Special Education Teacher to support learners with a wide range of abilities for the upcoming academic year.
In this role you will play a key part in designing and delivering instruction that meets each student s individual needs. Through the development and execution of IEPs youll collaborate closely with fellow educators school staff and families to ensure student success both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize proactive behavioral strategies to foster student engagement and selfregulation.
- Differentiate instruction and adapt materials to align with students unique learning profiles.
- Champion equity and inclusion by creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment.
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to guide academic behavioral and socialemotional progress.
- Maintain open consistent communication with families and caregivers to reinforce learning and development.
Requirements
- Success as a Special Education Teacher or in a related position.
- Have an Illinois PEL with an LBS1 endorsement in special education.
- Demonstrate a strong background in supporting children with diverse disabilities.
- Earned a bachelor s degree from an accredited institution; a master s degree is highly advantageous.
