You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur client an integrated designbuild contractor ranked among Canada s Top 10 transportation builders seeks a Project Engineer to help deliver lightrail transit (LRT) extensions and highwaywidening programs across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. You ll bridge the gap between civildesign consultants construction superintendents and government stakeholders to drive schedule quality and compliance from early works through revenue service.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design packages (track bridges roads utilities) and ensure IFC deliverables meet BC MoTI TransLink and TAC standards.
Maintain the integrated master schedule (Primavera P6); track criticalpath activities change orders and earnedvalue metrics.
Manage RFIs submittals and designclarification logs in Autodesk BIM 360 / Procore; chair weekly coordination meetings with designers & field crews.
Support construction staging trafficmanagement plans and utilityrelocation sequencing for live urban corridors.
Liaise with municipal engineers Indigenous nations and thirdparty rail/utility owners to secure permits and occupancy agreements.
Oversee qualitycontrol testing (concrete asphalt ballast trackwork) and document nonconformance reports and corrective actions.
Mentor EITs enforce safety culture and contribute to innovation workshops on carbonreduction and digitaltwin implementation.
. (BC) in Civil Transportation or Structural Engineering or eligibility with Engineers & Geoscientists BC.
5 10 years experience delivering LRT heavy rail or highway projects > CAD 50 M.
Working knowledge of P6 Procore/BIM 360 and TAC/AREMA design criteria.
Proven fieldengineering or constructionmanagement background on designbuild or P3 contracts.
Excellent stakeholdermanagement and technicalwriting skills.
CAD 120 k 145 k base annual performance bonus.
