Reports to: Director Strategy & Operations
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Status: Temporary Full Time (Up to 2 Years contingent upon funding)
Closing Date: May 25 2025

Position Summary:

The Knowledge Mobilization (KM) Lead plays a key role in translating complex system change concepts and program information into clear accessible formats for a wide range of stakeholders. This position supports the implementation and communication of the NORC model and advances the mission of the NORC Innovation Centre. This is a hybrid role with weekly inoffice meetings and occasional offsite presentations required.

Duties:

  • Promoting the scale and spread of NORC Program developed by NIC
  • Leveraging the expertise of a broad partner network and applying knowledge mobilization best practices to enhance NIC activities
  • Working closely with externallybased NIC Leadership and Project Leads.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years experience in knowledge mobilization or a related role
  • A proven track record in knowledge mobilization across multiple sectors (health policy community)
  • Experience managing complex projects (e.g. toolkits website redesigns capacitybuilding programs)
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement experience particularly in multistakeholder environments
  • Knowledge of Ontarios health system and policy context
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering adult learning initiatives (e.g. workshops training programs communities of practice)
  • Ability to produce accessible knowledge and communications products (e.g. toolkits infographics plainlanguage guides photos)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with digital engagement tools (e.g. Mailchimp Mighty Networks WordPress)
  • Experience designing and implementing evaluation strategies to measure KM impact
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex ideas into accessible engaging content
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Skilled at managing competing priorities with initiative clarity and attention to detail
