Job Description
All camps share a common purpose: creating an environment where Young Life staff bring Christ to life by creatively presenting the complete gospel of Jesus Christ. Speaking clearly from the Scriptures camp speakers introduce kids to the person of Christ the nature of humanity the work of Christ on the cross the hope of the resurrection and the opportunity for reconciliation with God.

General Program Worker
Summary:This position will support the operational aspects of Camping Services as well as represent Young Life and the Camping department in a Christcentered relational and professional manner.
Essential Duties:

Landscaping/Maintenance

Young Life is a relational ministry. Staff must be able to convey a sense of Christlike hospitality and concern for guests and staff. Responding to the unexpected needs of a guest in a prompt and professional manner is important. All staff members are expected to represent Young Life positively and professionally within the community and be able to work with and minister to the volunteer high school and collegeage young people who attend our camps.
Job Specific Working Conditions:
Trail West is looking to hire some additional staff during our fall season at camp. Available positions include:
- Food Service (2)
- Housekeeping
- Guest Services
- Retail / Housekeeping Split
During your interview process applicants will be able to request a certain position to work within but this will also be guided by the interview team at Trail West. All Trail West Property Staff will help with housekeeping responsibilities throughout the week.
This is an hourly part time position from August November (dates can be a bit flexible). This position has an anticipated salary of $15.00/hour.
This position will have housing included on camp property.
