The Application Delivery Project Manager plays a central role within the Corporate IT team taking full ownership of the delivery lifecycle for assigned applications from demand scoping and design to development deployment and support.
This role is responsible for driving the implementation of approved business and IT initiatives ensuring that projects are delivered on time within scope and budget and in alignment with technical standards and stakeholder expectations. It also oversees ongoing application support aiming to reduce incidents over time and minimize impact on business operations.
Reporting to the IT Portfolio Owner this Project Manager leads crossfunctional delivery teams applies effective project and support management practices manages risks and change and ensures clear and regular stakeholder communication.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Know in detail the reference standards & best practices defined by Enterprise Architecture and Security SGS departments to ensure technical design quality and vulnerability compliance.
- Provide and/or validate technical design for all application development activities.
- Ensure developments meet both the technical and operational requirements (such as security availability maintainability and performance) for customdeveloped applications as well as standard packagebased solutions and legacy applications either by developing him/herself or by overseeing vendor work.
- Coordinate with the Service Delivery Manager to define technical debt reduction plans on legacy applications and implement them.
- Improve application environments management and deployment processes.
- Support critical production incidents resolution when needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Solid project management experience with a proven track record of delivering application projects on time within budget and aligned with business objectives.
- Customerfacing management experience is required with proven success in driving projects and managing customer relationships.
- Relevant experience in managing requirements across the entire application delivery and operational lifecycle from initial scoping through to development deployment and postlaunch support.
- Skilled in securing commitment to action considering project impacts and combining both formal and informal communication channels to achieve desired outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear actionable items for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ideally certified in IT Service Management (ITIL 4) with practical experience in managing IT services and ensuring operational excellence.
- A solid understanding of Service Management principles with experience applying these principles to improve application delivery and support processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally
- A customercentric mindset
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work crossfunctionally with delivery teams vendors and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
