DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Process Development: Design and develop photolithography processes including photoresist coating soft baking exposure postexposure baking development and hard baking.
- Tool Operation & Optimization: Operate and maintain photolithography equipment such as steppers/scanners (e.g. ASML Nikon) coat/develop tracks (e.g. TEL SVG) and metrology tools.
- Characterization & Analysis: Perform critical dimension (CD) measurements overlay analysis focusexposure matrix studies (FEM) and defect inspections to evaluate process performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work with integration engineers process engineers and R&D to support technology development and transfers to manufacturing.
- Documentation: Write detailed process documentation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and development reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement DOE (Design of Experiments) SPC (Statistical Process Control) and other methodologies to improve process robustness and reduce variability.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 4 yr. experience.
- Postgraduate or equivalent degree.
Skills
- Indepth knowledge of lithographic techniques photoresist chemistry and exposure systems
- Familiarity with semiconductor wafer fab operations (Manufacturing Execution System process and quality control change management etc.) in a highvolume manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. JMP MATLAB Excel)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- GaAs/InP semiconductor processing or optoelectronics device experience preferred.
- Strong ability to drive actions and solutions through crossfunctional teams.
Working Conditions
- Cleanroom environment requiring gowning procedures
- Fastpaced teamoriented R&D and manufacturing settings
Physical Requirements
- Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods
- Wear full cleanroom attire (smock mask etc.)
- Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)
- Stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Lift up to 1630 Pounds
- Push/Pull up to 1630 pounds
- Sit for up to 4 hours at a time
