Job Description
Overview
Supports Legal/Regulatory Department across several AmTrust offices. Has shared responsibility for assisting with a variety of regulatory and compliance product development and implementation matters. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrusts mission vision and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepares product filings for various service contracts vehicle protection products via SERFF and other filing channels.
- Interfaces with internal stakeholders (e.g. product development underwriting) and state regulators to resolve objections to proposed insurance products
- Keeps current with market trends and demands
- Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative and/or insurance regulatory experience
- Associates or Bachelors Degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) products and Sharepoint
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure
- Quick learner with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities and stretch outside his/her comfort zone
- Selfmotivated team player with the proven ability to work independently and prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a highvolume fastpaced working environment frequently under urgent deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance issues and state regulations
- Knowledge of extended warranty business and related product filings
- Familiarity with utilizing Salesforce
