Labor Relations Communications Manager

The Boeing Company is seeking a Labor Relations Communications Manager who will lead a team that develops and implements strategic communication plans in support of the Labor Relations team in Seattle WA. This role involves supporting our businesses and collaborating across functions to create compelling materials that support positive employee relations union negotiations and contracts and labor law. Position Responsibilities:

• Leads a team responsible for supporting the companys Labor Relations team and its initiatives to support the companys global workforce

• Develops and implements ongoing continuous plans for positive employee relations to showcase employee feedback in action and Boeings commitment to being an employer of choice

• Develops and implements plans in support of union contract negotiations to ensure represented employees are educated and informed on pay benefits and other contract highlights

• Collaborates with internal communications teams including Human Resources compensation and benefits business unit program and site communications to develop and implement crosschannel strategies

• Partners with communicators from Media Relations Government Operations and Investor Relations to ensure the companys position is accurately reflected externally

• Analyzes performance metrics and gathers feedback to continuously improve engagement strategies and optimize communication effectiveness

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field

• 3 years of experience in written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences

• 3 years of experience in a role that required project management skills

• 3 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience supporting communications for corporate Human Resources or Labor Relations

• 3 years of experience supporting communications for aerospace or aviation
