Job Description
Location: Saint Peter School Cambridge MAStudent Enrollment: 205 students (PreK8)Start Date: September 1 2025 (with training and onboarding in August)Hours: 23 days per week to be coordinated with the current parttime nurseCompensation: $30$40 per hour based on experiencePosition Summary:Saint Peter School in Cambridge MA is seeking a caring organized and skilled PartTime School Nurse to join our school community. Working closely with our existing parttime nurse the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our 205 students ranging from preschool through eighth grade. - Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff during school hours
- Manage and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and school policies
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
- Monitor immunization compliance and communicate with families as needed
- Collaborate with staff families and local health providers to support student wellness
- Respond to public health guidance and implement schoolwide health protocols as needed
- Provide basic health education and resources to the school community
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience working with children or in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students families and staff
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic school
