Job Description
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose California building an allelectric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing manufacturing and operating an allelectric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What Youll Do:
Develop Flight Simulation Physics Models for eVTOL aircraft.
Conduct vehiclelevel trade studies.
Update system electrical thermal and performance model fidelity based on lab and flighttest data to support vehicle certification.
Work with internal and external suppliers to integrate their systems with vehiclelevelsimulation.
Conduct design and analysis activities to verify business and regulatory requirements will bemet with high confidence.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or AerospaceEngineering.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of experience as eVTOL Modeling and SimulationEngineer or a related job title in which experience developing Matlab Simulink models of eVTOLaircraft eVTOL control algorithms eVTOL flight control hardware and flight dynamics modeling andsimulation was gained.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or AerospaceEngineering.
ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 2 years of experience as eVTOL Modeling and SimulationEngineer or a related job in which experience developing Matlab Simulink models of eVTOL aircraft eVTOL control algorithms eVTOL flight control hardware and flight dynamics modeling andsimulation was gained.
