Summary of Position:
Mold Maker Intern will assist the Mold Maker/Apprentice Manager with tasks to ensure the facility operates smoothly and build schedules are maintained efficiently.
Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform light pickups and deliveries efficiently and safely
Ensure all garbage cans are emptied every morning.
Mount electrodes and organize them with their respective job travelers
Observe and learn from Mold Makers to understand the position without operating machinery
Install standard components into mold plates and prepare them for final mold assembly
Assist in the Engineering department as needed gaining insight into this aspect of the business
Qualifications:
Class Year(s): Junior in High School or higher
Ability to arrive on time and adhere to the work schedule established during the hiring process
Show eagerness to learn and effectively perform tasks independently after completing training
Conduct oneself in a manner that ensures personal safety and the safety of other employees
Mechanical ability
Light computer skills
Availability: Must be available to work in Gurnee IL from May 19 2025 Aug 8 2025
The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 $32.00.
