STARTING SALARY

$3400.83 (202425) The 202526 stipend has yet to be determined.

Key points of thejobdescriptionfor a Coach:

  • High ethical and professional standards.
  • Direct a successful program and oversee all facets of an entire community youth program.
  • Be a role model for studentathletes.
  • Cooperate with other schoolsponsored sports by encouraging studentathletes to compete in other programs.
  • Develop and implement an offseason program.
  • Lead studentathletes in the support of other Riverdale School District athletics and activities.

The Coach will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage all aspects of the program including training practice schedules and routines.
  • Hire and oversee assistant coaches as needed.
  • Provide regular communication with parents/families.
  • Track the academic progress of all studentathletes in the program and facilitate necessary support to ensure their academic eligibility.
  • Cooperate with other schoolsponsored sports and encourage athletes to compete in other programs.
  • Develop and implement an offseason program for athletics.

All coaches will need to complete the following prior to employment:

  1. Complete OSAA Coaching Certifications
  2. NFHS/ASEP Certification
  3. First Aid Card (CPR and AED trained)
  4. District Fingerprinting/Criminal Check
