Job Description
The Plus Group seeking a compassionate and detailorientedTemporary Pediatric Dental Assistantto support our pediatric dental team during a shortterm staffing need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be comfortable assisting in a fastpaced dental office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the pediatric dentist during exams and procedures ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for young patients
Prepare and organize dental instruments materials and equipment
Take and process dental xrays (as permitted by state regulations)
Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and posttreatment care
Maintain a clean and sterile clinical area according to infection control guidelines
Chart patient information accurately and maintain patient records
Comfort and reassure pediatric patients throughout their visit
Perform other supportive duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a dental assisting program REQUIRED
Current CPR certification
Experience in pediatric dentistry strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience empathy and ability to work well with children
