Job Description

School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the wellbeing academic success and lifelong achievement and health of students. To that end school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety including a healthy environment; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation selfmanagement self advocacy and learning.

The Arlington Public Schools is looking for a full time School Nurse at Brackett Elementary School from August 27 2025 to October 24 2025.
Candidates must have a Bachelorsof Science in Nursing and be licensed as an R.N. by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
Licensureas a School Nurse by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferred.
Experience as a School Nurse is preferred.
Must have current CPR Certification
