Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist at Zonos you will be integral to developing and implementing datadriven solutions that improve global ecommerce. Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams to create machine learning models perform data analysis and translate business needs into actionable insights. This role will focus on advanced analytics and problemsolving to enhance the crossborder trade experience for businesses and consumers. As a Senior Data Scientist youll apply your expertise in statistical modeling machine learning and data analysis to drive innovation within the company.
What you will do...
- Design and implement machine learning models and analytics to solve business problems and improve customer experience.
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and business stakeholders to identify datadriven opportunities for enhancing global trade.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines ensuring reliable data for analysis and model development.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends patterns and actionable insights for the business.
- Develop forecasting recommendation and optimization models to improve business outcomes.
- Communicate complex technical findings to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data science and machine learning to bring new ideas to the team.

What you bring:
- Want to live in sunny St George and enjoy a healthy worklife balance;
- A Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science Computer Science Statistics or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of handson experience in data science machine learning or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R along with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g. pandas NumPy SciPy).
- Experience working with machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikitlearn TensorFlow PyTorch) to build and deploy models.
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques and data analysis methods (e.g. regression classification clustering time series analysis).
- Experience with large datasets and data pipelines using tools like SQL Spark or cloudbased services (e.g. AWS GCP or Azure).
- Solid problemsolving skills with the ability to turn business challenges into datadriven solutions.
- Strong communication skills capable of explaining technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- A proactive and selfdriven approach to working in a collaborative fastpaced environment.

- $130k to $170kActual salaries will vary based on various factors such as education experience training scope etc. The salary noted is just one component of our total compensation package.
