Amazon Robotics is seeking a Technical Program Manager to work directly with our teams of hardware and software engineers and scientists and to guide them in the development and execution of crossprogram roadmaps. You will be joining the Robotic Manipulation organization whose goal is to develop products designed to work within a fulfillment center and intelligently identify and manipulate a variety of inventory. A successful candidate has experience building highly integrated large scale hardware and software products great communication skills and a drive to achieve results in a unified team environment.

Key job responsibilities
Have experience with complex system design including experience integrating hardware and software deliverables.
Drive consensus on technical findings and ensure the appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results.
Identify assess track and mitigate issues and risks at the program and crossfunctional level.
Create maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
Drive effective teamwork communication partnership and commitment across multiple teams with competing priorities.
Develop and drive crossfunctional and cross org program schedules.

About the team
There is no typical day in the life of a TPM at Amazon Robotics! The role is dynamic and successful TPMs are able to manage a variety of tasks and context switch as needed from strategic planning to technical determinations to tactical execution and critical urgent problemsolving.

TPMs remit includes hosting standups and status meetings developing content for program reviews managing risks & resources and keeping schedules up to date and development teams on task.

A TPM may switch between all of these activities throughout the day or may spend an entire day dedicated to a resolving a specific problem or assisting the team with a handson approach building a prototype executing a test or architecting a solution.

7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent

Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Experience in project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management
Handson Engineering experience in Hardware design or Software development.
