WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As our Inventory Operations Manager youll provide guidance direction and vision for inventory. Youll lead a team of Coaches who are responsible for driving inventory management activities that ensure the accuracy control of inventory transactions and balances within a Distribution Center. In addition this role is responsible for developing implementing and validating policies procedures controls and systems that prevent detect and correct errors in inventory transactions and balances while maintaining appropriate segregation of duties.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:
The Inventory Operations Manager will collaborate with Operations Planning and other Inventory teams to ensure our Inventory is available accurate and compliant.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
The Inventory Operations Manager works in a variety of roles including:
- Leading inventory validation programs that comply with company policies and provide ongoing measurements on inventory KPIs for a Distribution Center
- Strengthening a structured problemsolving approach that results in the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and establish goals examine root cause analysis of inventory errors and identify the most critical process failures contributing to inventory errors
- Facilitate the development and implementation of process improvements and evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken
- Build cross functional relationships with key business partners at WHQ and within DC Operations
- Drive the development and culture of the Inventory Management Ops team including hiring training leadership development (coaching and mentoring) and fostering an inclusive and open culture
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- 5 years management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support a 24/7 operations schedule
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite along with experience working with a WMS and ERP (SAP preferred)
- Outstanding organizational and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrated strength with critical thinking
- Demonstrated record of developing technical and analytical skills within a staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to brief senior leaders on inventory results projects and opportunities
- Effective crossfunctional project management
- Must understand and foster a diverse workforce
