Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental health and substance use challenges At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) were seeking a compassionate and dedicated fulltime Associate Professional to join our team in Kinston NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team you will work together with the team to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What Youll Do
As the Associate Professional (AP) you will be responsible for admissions / orientations evaluation and intake of new clients. You will also be facilitating psycho education groups establishing aftercare plans as well as initiating and maintaining contact with family members. The AP maintains accurate and uptodate referral sources and works together with the care team to maintain a therapeutic environment and promote appropriate and healthy interpersonal behavior. Daily documentation and accurate record keeping are key skills for successful candidates.
