Job Description
Huon has a fantastic opportunity for a Farm Attendant to join our Works Crew team at Hideaway Bay!The perfect position for those looking for a challenge in aquaculture.
The role
As part of the Works Crew your primary purpose is to install and maintain all necessary fish pen related infrastructure. You will:
- Assist with net pen and mooring setup maintenance and equipment installation.
- Assist with fish transfers feed trials feeding fish and fish health checks.
- Monitor and report all predator activity.
Located near Dover you will be working fulltime on a 7 on 7 off roster. This position comes with the opportunity to complete your Cert III in Aquaculture through which you will gain your Coxswains ticket.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within a team.
- Strong ability to adapt deal with uncertainty and remain calm in a changing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive focus on continuous improvement.
- A commitment to working safely in a dynamic environment identifying risks and taking appropriate action.
- Bonus points for experience on the water and relevant qualifications and tickets.
