Data Architect
Salary: National circa 95000 / London circa 120000
As a Data Architect you will lead the endtoend architecture design and implementation of enterprise data platforms and solutions. You will collaborate closely with business and technology leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable architectural blueprints. Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating technologies setting standards and driving innovation. The role also includes mentoring team members and ensuring that all solutions support strong customer outcomes and longterm business objectives.
A bit about the job:
The Data Architect is responsible for providing expert guidance in the design and development of advanced data and technology architectures ensuring alignment with organizational goals industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in defining architecture strategies optimizing processes and selecting appropriate platforms and solutions.
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprisewide data solutions ensuring scalability security and performance
- Work with stakeholders across business and IT to define data strategies standards and roadmaps.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data modelling governance and integration across platforms
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architectural decisions and improve system capabilities
Skills and experience were looking for:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data architectures in largescale environments
- Strong knowledge of data modeling data warehousing cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and data integration tools
- Deep understanding of data governance security standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences
- Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and tools for documenting and managing architecture artifacts
