Job Description
Temporary Junior and Senior Humanities Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Junior and Senior Humanities Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright Alberta.
This is a fulltime temporary contract position. Duties are to commence on August 25 2025 and the contract will terminate on June 26 2026.
Individuals exhibiting the following education characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor of Education
- Ability to teach Junior and Senior English Social Studies and Religious Studies
- Focus on high quality studentcentered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset
- Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
- Applicants with a St. Josephs College (U of A) Certificate of Catholic Education is an asset
- An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts
- A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor. Please provide email contact for references.
