Job Description
Amazon has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager to join our Finance and Business Integration team.
This candidate will work closely with accounting operations business finance and technology teams to implement SAP for a manufacturing business unit. They will support and directly influence the launches of some of Amazons newest global business initiatives. In this role the candidate will represent accounting while collaborating with business finance and technical to deliver world class financial solutions that are highly scalable secure and flexible. This person will have operated successfully in a fastpaced global resultsoriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial as well as ability to think clearly analyze quantitatively problemsolve scope business requirements and prioritize.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate: You will collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams to assess current processes and define system requirements.
Consult: Youll operate as a valued consultant to partner with many different stakeholder teams across Amazon. You will act as a liaison between the Accounting team and IT/SAP consultants to ensure smooth communication and alignment of requirements.
Own and Manage: Youll support the design configuration testing and deployment of SAP modules assist in data migration and validation from legacy systems to SAP and participate in the development of training materials and deliver enduser training for accounting staff.
Controllership: You will ensure compliance with internal controls audit requirements and financial reporting standards throughout project lifecycle.
Automate: Youll work on automation projects and lead the coordination of designing processes and tools to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate.
Support Expansion: Youll support the expansion of Amazon Robotics by ensuring implementation of controlled processes to ensure accuracy in Amazons financial statements
Make Decisions: Youll be an empowered impactful decision maker who drives the direction of a project to completion.
Successful candidates will have deep experience in the following three disciplines Accounting Program Management and Finance Systems. Candidate experience should cover financial processes project management accounting requirements documentation process design and user acceptance testing responsibilities. Demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish unusually complex challenges is expected as this is an ongoing requirement for this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of finance or related analytical field experience
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Large scale ERP (SAP Preferred) implementation experience or super user
Manufacturing industry experience in Accounting or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
CPA
Experience in accounting at Big Four or Fortune 500
Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
Experience managing large scale financial automation projects

Own and Manage: Youll own and manage lifecycle activities from beginning to end (planning requirements gathering technology team partnerships UAT planning and performance project closing and stakeholder engagement) for multiple projects simultaneously.
Automate: Youll work on automation projects and lead the coordination of designing processes and tools to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate.

We are the Finance and Business Integration (FBI) team within Amazon Accounting. As an FBI team we lead Accounting programs that support the accounting workstreams related to foundational solutions for Amazons Digital and Devices & Services businesses. Our scope includes products and services for Digital and Devices & Services businesses financial automation tools launch acceleration and compliance.
5 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams
Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
CPA
Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
