Software and Projects Coordinator

Position Description:

The Software and Projects Coordinator is responsible all district computers images including images in support of districtprograms like Career Tech Robotics and other specialty needs. The Software and Projects Coordinator is responsible for special technology projects that support the student learning environment and business needs of the district. Leads future
image development and enhancements and coordinates and manages the delivery environment like Jamf Apple Manager MS Intune and others. Works closely with all departments to ensure Technology Projects are properly documented executed and supported. The position can require extend or on call work hours to ensure the learning environment isalways functional.

Executive Director of Technology

Scope of Responsibility:

• Provides senior level technical support assistance to the Technical Support and Help Desk Technicians.
• Creates all district computer images including images in support of district programs like Career Tech Robotics and other specialty needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve image and software issues.
• Ensures any new software requested does not create conflict with other installed software or create security risk to the district.
• Coordinates maintains and troubleshoots all testing applications.
• Works with the Director of Testing to ensure the proper testing applications and versions are deployed and functioning properly.
• Is responsible for special technology projects that support the student learning environment and business needs of the district.
• Leads future image development and enhancements and coordinates and manages the deliver environment.
• Ensure that the Technology Infrastructure Standards are followed on all projects.
• Monitors the health of the delivery environment and endpoint devices.
• Escalates issue with providers as required to resolved issues in a timely manner.
• Provide scope of work for requirements and review with Technology Directors.
• Work closely with schools and department on special technology projects.
• Observe and measure organizational performance against customer requirements and recommend modifications to existing projects the development of new projects and Technology support
• Prepare operations reports and analyses setting forth progress adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or
• Maintains and provides status reports to the Executive Director of Technology.
• Works directly with vendors to create upload test and verify factory installed images.
• Meet with vendors on a regular basis to ensure all projects stay on task and meet required deadlines.
• Responsible to carry and answer district issued phone before during and after normal work hours due to emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
• Manage Special Projects/Events as assigned by the Executive Director of Technology.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Technology.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree is preferred in Computer Science or a computer related field; or the equivalent course work or technical experience.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• Eight years of professional technology experience required.
• Working knowledge of IP Addressing and Subnets.
• A certification or equivalent
• Microsoft Certification preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to produce reports for
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Knowledge of computer hardware software and networking infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills in multiple settings and the ability to be an engaging change agent and culturecreator that can inspire and motivate.
• Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with an ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions and

• Related Networking and Security Certification preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferred in Computer Science or a computer related field; or the equivalent course work or technical experience.

• Google GSuite experience.

Physical Involvement:

Standing walking reaching bending and lifting up to seventyfive pounds is sometimes required. Ability to provide own transportation to schools work locations and meeting sites. Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas.
