What youll be doing
Join our CIBC Technology team as an Software Developer CoOp and have a real impact in making our clients ambitions a reality! This is a great opportunity to be a part of an innovationfocused team that is helping to drive CIBCs digital transformation by developing testing and delivering easy to use flexible and personalized banking solutions. Youll have an opportunity to assist in developing testing and supporting the implementation of crossfunctional multiplatform application systems. You must be currently enrolled in postsecondary education and returning to fulltime studies to be eligible. However you do not need to be in a registered CoOp program to be considered for a role.

Term Length: 4 months
How youll succeed
Programming Develop code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments. Review analyze and modify programming systems including encoding testing and debugging.
System Implementation participate in the technical design development and integration of cross functional multiplatform application systems.
Coordination effectively interact with stakeholders end users business analysts and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members.

Communication: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis interpretation and assessment.
Creativity: You are curious and enjoy working in a team to visualize and design a possible new product or service and to assess the market business and technical merits of that concept
Organization: Your time management skills are strong and you are able to prioritize competing priorities to ensure successful outcomes.
Data analytics: You have the technical skills to review and evaluate data to find innovative opportunities and share with partners
