You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere looking for a driven and detailoriented Technical Services Project Manager who thrives in a fastpaced collaborative environment. Youre passionate about delivering highimpact technical projects and can manage complex initiatives that influence multiple business areas. Your ability to lead crossfunctional teams communicate effectively and keep projects on track sets you apart.
In this role youll lead key crossfunctional technical projects from initiation to completion. Youll ensure deliverables meet quality standards stay within scope and are delivered on time and within budget. Youll work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage resources risks communications and all supporting project documentation driving value and measurable outcomes across the organization.
Responsible for overall project execution success serving as the main point of contact for client and senior management for the project.
Support all aspects of the implementation and progression of assigned projects from original concept through project closure activities.
Provide leadership for a project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Coordinate definition of project scope and objectives.
Assist in defining the resources required to support the project.
Define highlevel work plans key project tasks and deliverables and manage the integration of resources and knowledge across projects and tasks.
Manage all Issues Risks and Changes; i.e. resolution and mitigation plans change requests.
Communicate expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Partner with the business and act as the liaison between the different areas of the business the customer/partner and technical teams.
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones deliverables dependencies risks and issues communicating across leadership.
Maintain uptodate project document repository.
Develop and deliver progress reports to management and other stakeholders including issue/action item logs project status and risks.
Conduct postproject reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery.
Participate in establishing best practices templates policies tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
Ensure adherence to corporate standards and practices and serve as a key contact in the escalation process.
Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
35 years of experience in Project Management or relevant working experience which demonstrates experience driving projects to completion.
Professional certifications such as PMP PMIACP CSM/PSM or technical credentials like CISSP CISA and Cloud Certifications (or equivalent) are highly valued.
Experience working in a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the hightechnology industry and/or experience compliance privacy or security risk management (including vendor risk).
JIRA experience is highly preferred.
Experience with Agile approaches: i.e. SCRUM XP Kanban etc.
Excellent leadership communication (written oral and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
Experienced PM with the ability to successfully drive projects to completion while managing the right balance of process without burdening the entrepreneurial spirit of the company.
Strong leadership diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment demonstrating teamwork innovation and excellence.
Selfmotivated and decisive with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities demands and timelines through analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
Experience leading motivating and managing various project team sizes including internal and external resources while holding a team accountable for performance.
A strong teamplayer with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Technical competence using software programs including but not limited to Google Suite for business (Sheets Docs Slides).
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
