Please feel free to contact us at (279)or to learn more details.Program Details:JobType: FulltimeTenure: June 30 2025 to July 31 2025Caseload: To be decided.Number of working hours per week: 12Job Responsibilities:- Conduct appropriate evaluation of students referred for related services under IDEA and prepare written reports of the evaluations and findings
- Participate in meetings as member of the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in development of IEP or 504 plans for eligible students
- Provide direct and indirect physical therapy in educational settings/least restrictive environments to children
- Collaborate with other school personnel regarding physical therapy and the students needs
- Delegate activities to teachers parents and paraprofessionals
- Train/instruct teachers parents and paraprofessionals in delegated techniques and equipment use
- Maintain records of service provided
- Lift transfer and position children and equipment as necessary
Qualifications Required: - Graduation from an accredited program of physical therapy
- Valid Connecticut state Physical Therapy license
- Two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist
