Security Officer Swing / Grave Full Time

Location:Pueblo CO
Rate:$17.00/HR
Available Schedule: Thurs Fri: 2PM 10PM & Sat Sun: 10PM 6AM
At Securitas onsite Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments help safeguard people property and information.

What Your Day May Look Like:
- Greet client client employees and log visitors issue badges.
- Conduct internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
- Monitor Entrance/exits and site visitors provides guidance as needed. and assist client.
- Complete daily activity incident reports and logs via client system.
- Provide an atmosphere in which all vendors drivers client employees Site Supervisor and management know their needs are being met.
- Present a good image to the client client employees drivers and vendors.
- Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information to others.
- Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives company management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
- Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
- Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Understands the nature of interactions with the public.
- Must have Swing / Grave shift availability.
- Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
- Conflict resolution and deescalation skills a plus.
- Must be able to interact with and greet employees at client site in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices and computers camera monitoring and reporting alarms.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers vendors drivers general public coworkers Site Supervisor Client and Office Management.
- Must be open to communication and feedback from Site Supervisor and Office Management.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment remain organized and professional and check property removal.
- Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
- Must provide high quality customer service inperson over the phone and via radio.
- Must have a personal vehicle Colorado Drivers License and clean driving record.
- Must be able to obtain Pueblo Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
- Must be able to attend inperson interview and inperson orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
- Security military or law enforcement experience a plus.
