You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the general direction of the Director of Student Services the Manager of Student Success is responsible for the administration and execution of student success initiatives within the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at Pepperdine Universitys Calabasas campus. Three foci define the primary responsibilities of the manager. First the manager will lead CHS programs that focus on identifying academic and personal challenges affecting student progress developing targeted strategies to address those challenges and ensuring students remain on track to achieve their educational goals. Secondly the manager will support all CHS programs in maintaining strong pass rates on national licensing exams to enable postgraduate student success support enrollment goals and promote the overall success of the CHS. Thirdly in partnership with school/program deans and faculty the manager will support academic success programming as well as remediation programming to ensure high completion (graduation) rates and minimize attrition.
The Manager of Student Success oversees the recruitment onboarding training and supervision of academic coaches tutors and workshop facilitators ensuring the delivery of highquality academic support services. Additionally the Manager of Student Success serves as the primary liaison to the Office of Student Accessibility working to ensure that students with disabilities have equitable access to academic opportunities and campus resources.
The Manager of Student Success is responsible for ensuring that students in the College of Health Science meet the standards set by the accrediting licensing and regulatory bodies governing the operation and administration of all CHS academic programs. This includes supporting faculty in developing and implementing effective remediation plans/programs preparing targeted academic support resources and maintaining strong pass rates on the NCLEXRN (nursing) Praxis (speech language pathology) and PANCE (physician assistant) and similar national licensing exams for future academic programs.
With its initial academic programs nursing and speech language pathology scheduled to begin in August 2025 the College of Health Science is early in its development. As needs arise the Manager of Student Success must be adaptable and adept at responding to unexpected requests and responsibilities should they arise. Additionally it is reasonable to expect that as the college grows and develops the Manager of Student Success duties will evolve within the area of student services to meet program and college performance metrics and objectives and provide support for the colleges students schools and programs.

This is a Regular Nonexempt 40 hour per week position.
Expected Pay Range: $29.80 $32.69 per hour
The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience market conditions education/training and skill level. In addition to base pay Pepperdine offers a robust and highly competitivebenefits package.
