Position Type: FullTime; 10month (School Year)Reports To: Director of Student ServicesPosition Overview:The Ipswich Public Schools is excited to introduce a new districtwide Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position. The BCBA will play a vital role in supporting students behavioral social and emotional growth across all schools grades and programs. In addition to providing behavioral consultation assessment and direct support services this position will take a lead role in developing and coaching Tier 1 behavioral systems as part of the districts MultiTiered System of Supports (MTSS) BCBA will also be responsible for supervising a small caseload of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and collaborating closely with educators administrators and related service providers to build capacity across the district. This role emphasizes proactive educationallydriven support to foster safe inclusive and supportive learning environments for all Responsibilities:Behavioral Support and Consultation:Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers special educators school psychologists counselors and other staff to develop implement and monitor behavior strategies across modeling coaching and sidebyside support to school staff implementing behavioral and analyze behavioral data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make datadriven Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with students IEPs and 504 plans as Leadership and Tier 1 Support:Serve as the district lead for the integration and expansion of positive behavioral practices within the MTSS the development refinement and implementation of Tier 1 behavioral structures and systems at the classroom and building and deliver professional development and training opportunities for staff related to behavioral strategies classroom management and proactive discipline with district and building leadership teams to support schoolwide behavioral initiatives SEL programs and traumainformed Behavior Technician (RBT) Supervision:Provide supervision oversight and professional development for RBTs employed by the RBT services are delivered with fidelity and in alignment with ethical guidelines and best RBTs in skill development data collection and intervention and Communication:Participate in student support team meetings IEP/504 meetings and other collaborative problemsolving teams as regularly with families regarding behavioral interventions and supports as documentation and reporting consistent with district state and professional :Required:Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Special Education Psychology or a related Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good conducting FBAs developing BIPs and providing behavioral consultation in school knowledge of MTSS frameworks Tier 1 behavioral practices and traumainformed :Previous experience supervising RBTs or other behavioral support providing professional development and coaching to of inclusion and the power of supporting strong Tier 1 supports Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsCommitment to equity inclusion and proactive approaches to student supportAdditional Information:This is a new position within Ipswich Public Schools and represents an exciting opportunity to shape and build behavioral support systems at the district level.
