Your mission
In this position youre part of an international Group Governance and Risk team with high integrity influencing and supporting the implementation of human rights and ethical practices across our international operations. You contribute to this through the coordination of the development and maintenance of Sandviks Code of Conduct and supporting training and materials and the new Human Rights framework supporting us in maintaining high ethical standards while developing new methods tools and processes and sharing best practices. Since the underlying topics in the Code and Human Rights statements are owned by different parts of the Sandvik organization you collaborate with different functions where you facilitate the coordination of the work to adhere to ethical standards and continuous improvement of the framework. You work closely with various departments including HR EHS Sustainability Compliance and Communications who own the key topics that drive positive change. Contribute to monitoring the effectiveness of these frameworks reporting on progress and fostering a culture of continuous improvement is also in your scope.
The location for this position is flexible within Europe.
Your profile
Were looking for someone with a bachelors degree in commerce administration sustainability law project management or similar businessrelated subjects. A masters degree is desirable. You have proven experience working with Codes of Conduct corporate culture and human rights in a global industrial setting. Strong project management skills and experience in leading complex initiatives through indirect influencing are essential. You have an excellent understanding of corporate governance and are fluent in English. For this job your knowledge and understanding of the Sandvik group and its decentralized organization is essential.
Your strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence others are essential in this position. Youre a trusted business partner who embodies integrity and inspires confidence. Your positive and solutionoriented mindset drives you to overcome challenges with ease. To communicate with conviction while maintaining a nonconfrontational approach always putting the customer first comes naturally to you.
