The President Multifamily Asset Services is:

The driving force behind the success of our Multifamily Asset Services business. They set the vision for the business and establish short and longterm strategic plans then mobilize resources and guide the 4000 member team to achieve the strategic plan and financial goals.

A collaborator with colleagues across the Investor Services platform and functional partners throughout the organization leveraging our full suite of services to maximize returns for our clients.

A trusted partner for our clients establishing and fostering relationships with clients to ensure C&W is delivering on our commitments and leveraging our expertise and capabilities to support achievement of their strategic objectives.

A transformational leader who champions innovation challenges the status quo and effectively leads the organization through change.

Job Description

Strategic Leadership

  • Develops the vision and short and longterm strategic plan for the Multifamily business aligned to company and Investor Services strategic objectives driving value for our clients and the firm.
  • Mobilizes resources and guides the 4000 member Multifamily team to execute and achieve the strategic plan and financial goals. Establishes a framework for tracking progress and measuring success. Holds leaders accountable for achievement of results.
  • Positions the company as an industry leader through innovation and bestinclass management practices. Relentlessly drives our business forward for our clients colleagues and communities.
  • Partners with the COO and internal experts to continuously evaluate the way work is done to identify opportunities for improvement and transformation. Leads the team through transformation and change.
  • Cultivates an environment where entrepreneurial mindset is aligned with enterprise needs.
  • Visible and active (ideally at the leadership level) in key industry organizations. Known as the leader of an exceptional organization and a top provider of solutions for Multifamily investors.

Financial Oversight

  • Responsible for achievement of the annual operating plan financial targets for the Multifamily Asset Services business. In partnership with Finance continuously monitors actual results vs. AOP targets and implements mitigation plans to address shortfalls.
  • Works with Executive Managing Directors to:
    • Maximize client satisfaction and retention shape profitability and drive growth locally regionally nationally and in specialty sectors.
    • Maximize return on revenue across property portfolios ensuring strong asset performance and longterm value creation.

Business Development:

  • Identifies opportunities for expansion acquisitions and strategic partnerships to expand and grow the business and service offerings for investor clients. Oversees negotiations for major acquisitions joint ventures and investment opportunities.
  • Sets the strategy to achieve growth objectives and works closely with the Executive Managing Directors to execute the plan. Continuously monitors progress toward achievement including pipeline wins and losses. Effectively guides the team through challenges to achieve results.
  • Drives crossfunctional service integration and supports pursuits.

Strategic Relationships

  • Establishes and fosters relationships with clients to ensure C&W is delivering on our commitments and leveraging our expertise and capabilities to support achievement of their strategic objectives.
  • Establishes and fosters relationships with colleagues across Cushman & Wakefield collaborating to bring the best of Cushman & Wakefield to clients across all businesses. Fosters a culture of collaboration within the Multifamily team and across the organization.
  • Aligns with vendor partners and C&Ws Procurement experts to create collaborative and consistent procurement opportunities.
  • Leverages corporate support organizations (e.g. HR Finance Marketing Research etc.) to optimize operational performance support strategy and deliver bestinclass solutions to clients.

Talent Management

  • Establishes a culture of care high performance success and accountability throughout the organization. Ensures performance challenges are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Establish C&W as a premier destination for top talent.
  • In partnership with the COO People Team and other partners continuously evaluates the design of the organization to improve the experience for our associates and optimize outcomes for our clients.
  • Hires top talent for leadership roles.
  • Fosters a continuous learning culture prioritizing employee development.
  • Builds a strong sense of community within and outside the organization that aligns to strategic goals and drives enterprise value.

Compliance & Risk Management

Partners with internal Risk & Compliance function to develop and implement strategies to mitigate company and client risk.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Property Management or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 15 years of experience in the real estate industry
  • Relationship driven aggressive in pursuing new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong cross functional partnerships.
  • Client focused mindset
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration.
