POSITION: Machine Operator 2 (Night Shift)
SHIFT: Monday Thursday 4:00 pm 2:30 am (OT as required)
PAY RATE: $23 $25 per hour (DOE) $2 shift differential Full Benefits Package
LOCATION: Fargo ND
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment used for the fabrication of structural steel and tank products.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with the established JSA.
- Ability to competently operate a majority of equipment in an operational area performing with accuracy consistency and with minimal supervision and rework.
- Ability to lead and direct groups of employees to successful task completion
- Perform effectively as a trainer and mentor to junior employees.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Utilize applicable tools and equipment relevant to operating the machine.
- Practice and promote Safety and Housekeeping.
- Prompt and dependable attendance.
- Others duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Programming CNC equipment
- Operating CNC equipment
- Working knowledge of basic lifting and rigging techniques.
- Able to identify needed material
- Able to read shop drawings
- Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.

- Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
- Effectively operate common layout tools.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED.
- One to two years of machine operation experience.
- The Machine Operator 2 must have fulfilled the requirements of the Machine Operator I position or shown that equivalent experience and knowledge has been gained by other means (previous employment trade schools) to meet those requirements.
