We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced A&H Team Leader and Underwriter to join our dynamic team at the National Underwriting Centre in Manchester.

As an A&H Team Leader and Underwriter at Chubb you will play a crucial role in managing and underwriting Accident & Health (A&H) renewals through our etrade platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective assessment of risks while also fostering a collaborative and highperforming team environment. While leadership experience is not essential we are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to lead and inspire others embodying Chubbs core leadership competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite A&H insurance products assessing risks and determining appropriate coverage and pricing.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement underwriting strategies that align with business objectives.
- Management and oversight of the teams workload to ensure we provide a high level of service to our brokers.
- Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages innovation accountability and excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in A&H underwriting is essential.
- Prior leadership experience is desirable
- Demonstrate desire to lead and develop others with a commitment to Chubbs core leadership competencies.
- Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
