Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector will perform inspections of products to ensure all products meet quality standards.

REPORTING TO

Quality Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Inspect parts
  • Use of calipers and micrometers and other measuring devices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
  • Fill out forms to record results of inspections

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience working in the Fastener industry is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Vision and depth perception suitable for use of inspection equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and anything over requires help and/or handling equipment. While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand for periods of time walk and reach with hands and arms.
