Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Inspector will perform inspections of products to ensure all products meet quality standards.
REPORTING TO
Quality Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Inspect parts
- Use of calipers and micrometers and other measuring devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Fill out forms to record results of inspections
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience working in the Fastener industry is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Vision and depth perception suitable for use of inspection equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and anything over requires help and/or handling equipment. While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand for periods of time walk and reach with hands and arms.
