Job Description

Job Title:Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6/7
Location: London Greater London
Start:ASAP
Duration:3 months with potential for extension
Rate:24 34 per hour
Working hours:Fulltime or Parttime

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed client in London. This role requires working in a fastpaced and dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing highquality speech and language therapy to adult patients in acute settings. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and effectiveness of treatment plans which are critical for patient communication and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments develop and implement tailored treatment plans and monitor patient progress. You will demonstrate specialist clinical expertise in the assessment differential diagnosis treatment and management of dysphagia and communication in adult acute patients. You will provide appropriate specialist assessment intervention and evaluation of outcomes and demonstrate specialist knowledge in clinical areas underpinned by current evidencebased practice and outcome measures. Additionally you will collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams maintain meticulous records and documentation and ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Bachelors degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in adult acute speech and language therapy.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
