Fortius Clinic are hiring for a new Radiographer to join on a fulltime permanent basis.
This post would be ideally suited for a radiographer wishing to develop their orthopaedic imaging experience. Fortius Clinic Imaging is currently delivered at four sites across Marylebone Bank and Wimbledon. Successful candidates will be expected to work across multiple sites.
The contract is 37.5 hours per week Monday Friday.
Shift times ranges between 07:30 22:00 with optional extra weekend work.
35k 38k depending on experience.

The Imaging Department:
We currently have 3 Siemens scanners. A 1.5T Avanto at Marylebone a 1.5T Aera at Fortius Clinic London 3T Spectra at the City and 3T Lumina at Wimbledon. There is a CT Siemens Somatom Scope at the Fortius Clinic London site there is a Siemens DR Ysio room at the City Wimbledon and Fortius Clinic London and a DR and CR xray room at Marylebone. In the new year we will incorporate a DEXA scanner in our Fortius Clinic London site.
The radiographer role predominantly will consist in covering theatre sessions. In addition to this provide xray services at all sites and assist with MRI and CT positioning.
There is an MRI and CT training plan in place for this role and we anticipate over the course of 18 months the radiographer will be fully trained in both modalities.
A wide variety of patients will be encountered including elite sportsmen and women and VIPs. All patients are to be treated with the same curtesy and professionalism. It is an absolute requirement of employment that confidentiality must always be strictly maintained. Any breach of this will result in immediate dismissal.
We also provide an orthopaedic imaging service for children over 5 years.
The postholder will undergo a comprehensive induction/training period whereby they will be working with senior training radiographer and lead radiographer.
Job requirements
HCPC registered
Orthopaedic Xray experience and DEXA experience
Experience working in Theatres
Willingness to train towards MRI and CT experience
Strong commitment to teamwork
Patient focused with high standards of care and customer service
High standards of patient confidentiality
