We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the presale and open club operations of a brand new site in Hull.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the health and wellness sector with a proven ability to lead teams effectively. This role requires a handson management approach a passion for fitness high operational standards and a keen interest in customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the gym and studio operations ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Grow the member base pre and postopening.
- Create and manage the studio timetables.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and increase revenue.
- Manage team performance through effective leadership training and development initiatives.
- Handle budgeting inventory management and cost control measures efficiently.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the Health and Wellness industry is essential.
- Background in personal training and/or group exercise instruction is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
