Role Overview
Direct client is seeking a Web Developer to maintain enhance and optimize its two eCommerce websites. Both platforms are built on Shopify and require expertise in JavaScript CSS and Shopify development. This role will involve collaborating with the marketing and content teams to implement new features design updates and streamline backend processes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problemsolver with a strong grasp of frontend development Shopifys ecosystem and modern web technologies. They will play a key role in improving site functionality user experience and overall performance while ensuring the websites align with business objectives and marketing initiatives.
Experience with graphic design would be a significant advantage as would the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain update and optimize two Shopifybased eCommerce websites.
- Develop and implement new pages features and UI/UX enhancements in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Write clean efficient and scalable JavaScript and CSS code.
- Improve site speed performance and mobile responsiveness.
- Streamline backend processes and integrate thirdparty tools or APIs as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Stay up to date with Shopifys latest features trends and best practices
- Must have 35 years experience in web development.
