Job Description
Role: ALIP Developer
Location: Houston TX/Jersey City NJ/ Hartford CT/ Woodland Hills CA ( 3 days WFO). Candidate should be flexible with the locations.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a strong senior developer with 10 years of relevant experience in ALIP product features development. ALIP is a policy administration system used by life and annuity insurance companies.
Technical Skills:
Having strong relevant 10 years of experience in Insurance projects and 5 years of experience in ALIP.
Focuses on the Accenture Life Insurance and Annuity Platform (ALIP). ALIP developers work on various aspects of the platform including:
Development and Deployment:
o Contribute to the development enhancement and deployment of ALIP solutions.
o Product Configuration:
o Configure ALIP products based on client requirements potentially using configurable product templates.
o Software Engineering:
o Apply software engineering principles best practices and methodologies like Agile JIRA and RTM.
Data Handling:
o Work with data cleaning transformation and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity.
o Testing and Analysis:
o Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure the quality and integrity of the application.
Collaborating with crossfunctional teams and leveraging tools like Java and SQL. ALIP developers also need a strong understanding of the insurance industry particularly life and annuity policies.
Continually optimizing for better efficiency.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of Insurance business processes.
