Job Summary for Openshift Developer
Assess and understand the architecture dependencies and deployment configurations of existing applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
Plan and execute the migration of applications from PCF to OpenShift with minimal disruption.
Implement configuration changes and deploy applications to OpenShift clusters using best practices for container orchestration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after migration including deployment failures and container errors.
Optimize application and container settings for performance scalability and resource efficiency on the OpenShift platform.
Apply security best practices such as RBAC secrets management and compliance with corporate policies.
Collaborate with development DevOps and operations teams to ensure smooth migration provide documentation and offer postmigration support.
Required: 6 years designing and architecting enterprise container platforms with 5 years in Red Hat OpenShift and PCF.
Strong experience with Kubernetes Docker and container orchestration.
Proficiency in OpenShift cloud platforms.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD tools (e.g. Harness).
Experience with cloudnative patterns microservices and application modernization.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. shell Helm charts).
Experience with Autosys.
