Job Description
We are seeking a Cath Lab Technician / Interventional Radiologic Technologist for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Newburyport Massachusetts 01950.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8hour shifts Day Shift
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
- Weekly Payrate: $2300 $2500
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures in Cath Lab and IR suites.
- Ensure proper positioning and imaging technique to achieve highquality images for interpretation.
- Assist in the insertion and manipulation of catheters and other devices during interventional procedures.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and procedural details.
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Handle contrast media and monitor for allergic reactions.
- Operate and maintain specialized radiographic equipment used in Cath Lab and IR.
- Assist with patient transport preparation and postprocedure care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Specialized training in Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Catheterization.
Certification:
- ARRT Registration (R) Required
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Required
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License Active and Required
- 1 years of experience in Cath Lab and/or IR procedures with a strong preference for Cath Lab experience.
