Gynaecologist (MS DGO Consultant)
The Gynaecologist plays a crucial role in womens health focusing on diagnosis treatment and prevention of reproductive system disorders. This position is vital for improving the health outcomes of women by providing expert medical care and surgical interventions as required. The Gynaecologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care educate women on health issues and advocate for best practices in reproductive health. They will be responsible for ensuring a supportive and respectful environment addressing the unique concerns women face throughout their life stages. The successful candidate will be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in gynaecology and participate in continuous professional development. In doing so they will contribute to the overall goals of the healthcare facility in Kadi Gujarat by providing highquality care while fostering strong patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat various gynaecological conditions.
- Perform routine and emergency procedures including surgeries.
- Offer prenatal antenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers.
- Provide family planning and fertility advice.
- Manage patients with highrisk pregnancies and other complex cases.
- Keep detailed medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients on health practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with obstetricians nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Perform regular followups to monitor patient progress.
- Stay updated with advancements in gynaecology practices and technologies.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote womens health awareness.
- Participate in peer reviews and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Offer support and guidance to patients facing emotional and psychological challenges.
- Contribute to administrative duties including scheduling and policy adherence.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Master s Degree in Gynaecology (MS) or equivalent.
- Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO).
- State medical license for Kadi Gujarat.
- A minimum of 35 years of clinical experience in gynaecology.
- Strong knowledge of reproductive health policies and regulations.
- Proficiency in surgical techniques related to gynaecology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate disposition towards patients and their families.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Willingness to participate in professional development activities.
- Experience in mentoring and training junior medical staff.
