Job Description
- Installs PLCs motor controls cable and cable trays
- Install connect and maintain electrical wiring conduit systems and other electrical components
- Works from construction drawings to install power lighting and distribution systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems including malfunctions in equipment and systems
- Program PLCs and other automated control systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams
Requirements
- Must have a strong understanding of electrical theory wiring principles and relevant electrical codes
- Must have minimum of 7 years as an industrial electrician
- Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program or journeyman experience preferred
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems effectively
- Able to understand schematics and other technical documents
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices in industrial settings
- Ability to communicate with team members engineers
