Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing services at a facility in Lubbock County Texas. The ideal LVN will provide treatment support and general welfare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical mental health and behavioral needs.

Sunday Saturday (Must be available to work 3 weekends per month) Shifts may alternate to meet facility staffing needs.

Start Date: Flexible pending completion of compliance and onboarding (requires 5 business days)

Rate: $33 $36/hr

Requirements:

Current LVN license in the State of Texas

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in longterm care or developmental disability settings

Must meet immunization requirements per state guidelines

Must successfully pass drug screening and fingerprint background check

Completion of all preemployment training mandated by facility and state health services

Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines

Monitor patients health and report changes to supervising RN or physician

Document care activities and complete computer data entries (training provided)

Ensure compliance with applicable policies regulations and standards (e.g. ICFIDD facility SOPs)

Provide supportive and compassionate care tailored to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
