Depot Lab Maintenance System Engineer
Location: Aurora CO.
Job Responsibilities:
- Depot Lab team members manage the resources in a hardware maintenance lab.
- Attend design reviews for new projects.
- Member of a team of System Engineers responsible for ensuring the sustainment of functionality and operation for a large quantity and wide range of hardware components.
- Perform system and unit level hardware maintenance preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Perform periodic maintenance preventative and corrective maintenance troubleshooting and component level repair.
- Services digital RF fiber optic and AC power systems and components.
- Track and document system performance metrics creating problem reports and records.
- Ensure highlevel of systems reliability and availability reducing operational issues and outages.
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient spares and replacement hardware units were maintained/operational.
- Work with highly calibrated / technical equipment.
- Requires 24/7 oncall support (maximum of 1/month).
Requirements
- Required Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly
- U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation.
Required Skills:
- Familiar with testing equipment.
- Skilled at performing component level troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with diagnosing providing status and reporting system issues.
- Understanding of controllers Ethernet to fiber interfaces gateways.
- Engineering degree or 8 years relevant experience.
