Job Description
Position Overview
Join our clients collaborative team in a hybrid role working on significant infrastructure and facility projects. This position is available across several regional offices including their Buffaloarea headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural analysis design and computer modeling for diverse projects
- Collaborate across architectural mechanical electrical and civil teams
- Develop comprehensive plans technical specifications and construction details
- Provide construction administration support and shop drawing review
- Manage complex technical challenges with significant organizational impact
- Define project scopes and develop innovative engineering solutions
- Serve as technical authority both internally and with external stakeholders
- Design structural systems in various materials (steel concrete masonry wood)
- Conduct facility assessments and produce technical documentation
- Participate in client consultations and project team meetings
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and Structural Engineering (SE) certification
- 1020 years of structural engineering experience
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (Bentley RAM) REVIT AutoCAD Microsoft Office and BlueBeam
- Exceptional communication and problemsolving abilities
- Experience managing projects independently and in team environments
- Strong technical writing skills and familiarity with structural codes (ASCE 7 AISC 360 ACI 318)
- Background in diverse structural materials and project types
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites
