Job Description
Exclusive to TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency; we have an opportunity for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join a highly regarded modern chartered accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.
This independent multisited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity! As an Accounts & Tax Manager you will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio including sole traders partnerships and limited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied client portfolio
- Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
- Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
- Overseeing bookkeeping and organising accounting records
- Reviewing preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
- Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
- Collaborating with senior management including assisting Partners on projects
- Contributing to the firm s growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients
Requirements
Accounts & Tax Manager Sevenoaks
- You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice
- You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts and tax returns
- Experience of general tax planning would be advantageous
- Open to part time and full time applicants

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
