Job Description
Remuneration and Benefits

Role Overview
The appointed candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations at the sawmill ensuring efficiency reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of production processes and associated machinery
- Establishing priorities and managing resource allocation
- Evaluating and selecting external suppliers and subcontractors for equipment materials and services
- Identifying and implementing performance improvements
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring workplace safety
- Enforcing QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment) standards
- Applying structured problemsolving approaches
- Leading and developing the maintenance team
Requirements
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of five years experience in a sawmill or comparable industrial environment
- A recognised qualification (diploma or equivalent) in industrial maintenance or electrical engineering
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong adaptability and selfmotivation
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- A committed dependable and resultsdriven approach
