Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with strong analytical and modeling skills to join our ThirdParty Finance Team. The position reports to the Senior Finance Manager of ThirdParty Finance and works closely with the heads of ThirdParty Operations Corporate Finance Accounting Revenue Management and Cash Management. The role will have the opportunity to create and review pro formas budgets financial reports and various analytical models for hundreds of acquisitions and developments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead underwriting of potential ThirdParty developments and acquisitions by partnering with Business Developers Operations and Revenue Management
- Manage the annual budget for all Third Party properties
- Provide 5year projections and budgets for third party properties using various models and analytical tools
- Build and maintain various financial databases and models related to markets and submarkets rates occupancy trends and expenses
- Conduct ongoing analysis on rates and occupancy trends and monitor cash flow and performance of third party properties
- Assist the leaders of Finance and Third Party with the Monthly P&L forecasting and reports
- Partner with owners and investors and senior leadership from Operations Accounting and Cash Management to resolve financial reporting pricing and reporting issues
- Review monthend journal entries accruals allocations and expense accounts
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial reports and review income statements balance sheet cash flow analysis and performance reports
- Develop ad hoc reports for senior leaders as needed.
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field
- 2 4 years of related experience in finance accounting and real estate
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (vlookups formulas if statements pivot tables etc.)
- Real Estate industry experience is a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Exceptional presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
