Job Description

Coffmans is seeking a Structural Engineer with one to three years of experience with design of steel concrete wood and masonry commercial/institutional buildings. We are looking for a creative selfmotivated energetic individual who would like to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multidiscipline firm. Coffman is committed to providing a learning environment that will help the successful candidate propel their career to a high level.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- BS in civil engineering (required) with emphasis in structures (required)
- Masters Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
- Registration as an E.I.T. (preferred)
- 13 years of professional work experience.
- Coursework in concrete and steel design.
- Ability to work with local architectural/engineering community (preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Being comfortable consulting to architectural practices
- Working as part of a multidiscipline design team
